Sheikhpora, Labartal A enter quarter-finals

Budgam: Sheikhpora and Labartal A on Thursday made it to quarter-finals after thrashing Bemina and Durbal respectively in the ongoing Ramazan 15 over tournament here at Kakinmaran.

In the first match of the day, Sheikhpora set the target of 189-7. Riyaz scored 38, Asif 32 and Javaid 37 runs.

In reply, impressive knocks of duo Mohammad with 69 and Irfan 42 could not help Bemina to achieve the target. Ashish, Mehraj and Ashiq picked two wickets each for Sheikhpora.

In the second match, Labartal A managed to score 115-7 only. Asif made 42 and Kifayat 21. While as Ibrahim and Rashid claimed three wickets each for Durbal.

In reply, splendid bowling by Imtiyaz and Javaid help Labartal A to protect their low score.Both the bowlers picked three wickets each. Mohammad with 30 and Mustafa with 18 remained leading run scorers for Durbal.
