Hurriyat, JKLF pay tributes to Tufail Mattoo

Srinagar, June 10, 2018: Paying rich tributes to Tufail Mattoo  and martyrs of 2010, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman Syed Ali Geelani has reiterated the pledge to take the mission of martyrs to its logical end.

Geelani in a statement said, “the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will not be allowed to go waste and their mission will be accomplished at all costs.”

“We will not forget the warm blood of our young martyrs and we will strive hard to achieve the goal for which they have sacrificed their lives,” said Geelani and added that forces killed 125 innocents like Zahid Farooq, Wamiq Farooq and Tufail Mattoo  in cold blood. While expressing displeasure over the state authority’s failure in bringing culprits to book, Geelani added that “the cops involved in brutal killing of Tufail Mattoo  in downtown Srinagar during 2010 peaceful agitation are still roaming scout free.”

Meanwhile on the directions of Syed Ali Geelani a high-level delegation visited Tufail Mato’s family and paid tributes and expressed sympathy with grieved family, the statement said.

Meanwhile, zonal organizer of JKLF Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri today participated in the prayers meeting held at Mazar I Shuhada Eid Gah , organized for Tufail Ahmad Matoo, a statement issued by JKLF said.

While recalling the sacrifice of this budding flower, JKLF leader on the occasion said that this innocent child fell to the bullets and shells of tyrants and his martyrdom triggered a people’s revolution in 2010, said the statement.

While praying Mattoo o, the JKLF leader said that these sacrifices will never go waste and their mission will be taken to its desired goal.

Meanwhile JKLF has expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of Abdul Rashid Zargar father of senior journalist Ishfaq Gowhar who breathed his last today.
