Exhibition of Islamic art objects and rare Quranic manuscripts concludes at TRC

SRINAGAR, JUNE 11: Five-day Rare Quranic Manuscripts and Art Objects Exhibition conclude here with the pledge to take every step for their preservation and secure it for future generations.

On a concluding day, hundreds of people visited the venue including students from various educational institutions.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, Hamdiya/ Naatiya Mushaerah was also organized at TRC complex in which prominent poets of Urdu and Kashmiri languages recited poetry.

Mushaera was presided over by Prof Naseem Shafaiee while as Showkat Ansari and Manshoor Banhali were also in the presidium.

Those who recited there Kalaams on the occasion include Prof Naseem Shafaiee, Showkat Ansari, Manshoor Banhali, Nisar Gulzar, Gh Rasool Josh, Azhar Hashmi, Farooq Bukhari, Khursheed Qureshi, Nayeem Kashmiri, Gh Qadir Attar, Amin Ashraf, Dr. Shahid Hussain, Nusrat Iqbal, Syed Bashir Kousar, Maqbool Shaida, Ab Majid Hasrat, Syed Wiqar Danish, Gh Nabi Shaheen, Manzoor Manzar, Wahid Ahmad Malik and Farhat Nazeer. Proceedings of the function were conducted by Dr.Syed Iftikhar Ahmad. Vote of thanks was presented by M. Ashraf Tak (Chief Editor JKAACL).

The event was organized by J&K Cultural Academy in collaboration with INTACH, Department of Libraries, Department of Archives, Shashvat Art Galery Jammu, Directorate of Tourism, Kashmir, Peerzada Collections and Hakeem Collections.
