Jammu, Jun 10: A suspected drug-peddler was arrested after 40 grams of heroin was found in his possession in Kathua district, police said today.
Jasbir Singh, a resident of Nanak Nagar area in Jammu, was travelling in his car when a police party stopped him for checking at Railway Road, Govindsar, in Hatli area, they added.
He was arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and his vehicle was also seized after the heroin was found on him.
