Srinagar June 07, 2018: Terming the incarcerated leaders and activists as the prisoners of the conscience, All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani saluted the sacrifices rendered by these prisoners for the ‘sacred cause of right to self-determination.’

Geelani is a statement issued today while condemning the ‘inhuman and ill-treatment meted out to the detainees languishing in Tihar, Jodhpur, Bangalore, Kot-Bhalwal, Kuthwa, Riasi, Udhampor, Mattan, Baramulla, Kupwara and central jail Srinagar’, said that unhygienic food items are provided to the jail inmates and the denial of proper medication has a negative effect on the health condition.
