Srinagar, Jun 06: Body of a middle-aged man was found in Nallah Sindh on Wednesday, three days after he went missing.
Locals informed the police after which a police team rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
“A 42-years-old mentally unstable person identified as Abdul Salaam Bhat of Yenhama Lar in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district was reported missing since Monday. Today his dead body was recovered from Nallah Sindh at check Watalbagh,” a police officer said.
He said it seems a case of drowning, but police have initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC.
