Srinagar, Jun 03 : Secretary School Education Farooq Ahmed has clarified that School Education Department has not announced summer vacations for schools in Kashmir and winter zone areas of Jammu division.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) Secretary Education Farooq Ahmed Shah said ‘no summer vacations has been announced for schools in Kashmir valley and winter zone areas of Jammu division. Some people are spreading rumours on WhatsApp groups and social media. News reports about summer vacations for schools in Kashmir valley and winter zone areas of Jammu division are totally baseless. The decision whenever taken by government will be announced through print and electronic media at the appropriate time.
