DC chairs PNC meeting at Baramulla

BARAMULLA, JUNE 02: In order to finalize cases of land acquisition under private negotiation and compulsory acquisition for various developmental projects, a Private Negotiations Committee (PNC) meeting was today held at Baramulla with Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash in chair.

The meeting was convened for fixing the rate of land in various areas of the district required for different projects as per Land Acquisition Act.

A total of 17 cases were taken up during the meeting out of which 12 cases were settled while as 05 cases were deferred. Notably, land acquisition case related to the construction of Degree College at Hadipora, construction of Fruit and vegetable market at Krewa Kreeri and construction of various roads among others were thoroughly discussed during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Farooq Ahmad Baba, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore Ashiq Hussain Lilly, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Bashir Ahmad Bhat, SDM Gulmarg, Ab Aziz and Tehsildars of concerned Tehsils besides officers of concerned departments, landowners of concerned villages.
