Nargis Dutt Foundation donates e-learning system to Srinagar school

Srinagar: On the 89th Birth anniversary of legendary Bollywood actress and philanthropist Nargis Dutt, Nargis Dutt Foundation donated an E learning system – Smart Class room to New Bonvivant School, Hawal at Srinagar. This project was locally facilitated by H N Wanchoo Trust.

Dr.  Shah Faesal, MD JKSPDCL formally inaugurated the e-learning system in presence of Dr Amit Wanchoo, Nazir Ahmed Wani, Mohd Yusuf Manzar, Gowhar Altaf, Akhtar Hussain besides renowned academicians, students and representatives of various educational institutions.

After formally inaugurating the smart class room, IAS topper 2009, Shah Faesal addressed students and shared various experiences during his school and college time. He also had a interactive program with the students and answered their queries and questions patiently.

Shah Faesal said, “Economic status is never a pre requisite for excelling in education. It all depends on our commitment, perseverance and dedication to our goal.”

Dr Faesal stressed on the history and culture of any civilization and said, “We have a rich history and it is very important for us to learn from our past. Let us focus on positives and try to contribute something to this world. If we are honest to our goal, we will achieve it.”

Nargis Dutt Foundation is based in Mumbai and is actively engaged in various social initiatives in the field of health, education and hygiene. H N Wanchoo trust runs night ambulance services in Kashmir and is actively involved in various health, education and skill building initiatives in the valley. Both NGO’s joined hands for implementation of this project.

Dr Amit Wanchoo, Chairman HN Wanchoo trust specially thanked Nikita Padora and trustees of Nargis Dutt Foundation who shaped this dream into reality. Dr Wanchoo said, “Nargis Ji will be watching us from the skies in heaven and showering her blessings on the children of paradise on earth.”
