Srinagar, May 30: Police on Wednesday recovered an unexploded shell from Lalpora area of Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Quoting sources, GNS news agency reported that the shell was spotted by the locals on the banks of a stream in Aram Mohalla.
The locals informed the concerned police station about it who immediately reached the spot along with the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), it said.
A police officer while confirming the incident said that the shell was later destroyed without causing any damage.
