Srinagar: A Special Police Officer (SPO) was shot at by unidentified gunmen in Pulwama and has been shifted to a Srinagar hospital in an injured condition.
Sources said that SPO Aqib Wagay, son of Abdul Ahad Wagay from Udipora, Panzampora and posted at GRP Awantipora was shot at by some unidentified gunman at Puchal Pulwama.
The SPO received bullets in his legs and was rushed to District Hospital Pulwama. However, from there, he has been referred to a Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment, sources said.
