Jammu, May 29 Panic gripped a school in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir today when two leopard cubs, one of which was later declared dead, were found on its premises, police said.
The leopard cubs were found in a classroom of the Government Middle School in the Panchari area of the district, they added.
The panic-stricken teachers informed the police, who reached the spot and found one of the two cubs dead.
Officials of the Wildlife department were called to the spot, who took the cub, which was alive, with them.
