Speaker releases book “Safar Zindagi Ka”

JAMMU, MAY 27: Speaker Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Dr. Nirmal Singh today released a book “Safar Zindagi Ka”, a collection of stories and poems, authored by Rajkumari Razdan at a function organized by Blue Rose Publishers.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Singh appreciated Rajkumari Razdan for bringing out excellent piece of literature.

Speaker further said that the literary work portrays women struggle in different circumstances and showcases her strength to overcome adversity alongwith indelibility of human resolve.

“It is a privilege to be a part of any literary programme of Kashmiri Pandits who were, are and will be continually contributing enormously in the field of literature no matter where they reside and no matter in which environment they are present, “he added.

Dr. Singh said that authors are instrumental in bridging the culture divide among different states and the countries through their writings . He further said that thinkers and academicians have a very important role in sharing their past and present experiences with next generation.

The book preface writers Dr. Rattan Lal Shant and Dr. Agnishekhar also spoke on the occasion and emphasized on the strengths of author to keep readers engrossed in the stories till it ends.

Paper on the book was read by Yogita Yadav.

Rajkumari Razdan extended her heartfelt thanks to all the guests present over there and also appreciated the literary members for their unconditional support in encouraging her.

Among others, Legislator Ajay Bharti, President Press Club Jammu, Ashwani Kumar, a galaxy of writers, poets, academicians and reputed personalities from all walks of life were present on the occasion.
