Srinagar, May 27: Joint separatist leadership has called shutdown on Tuesday 29th May in Shopian and its surroundings against “double murder and rape of Asiya and Nilofer”.
“In remembrance of the double murder and rape case of Asiya and Nilofer Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called a shutdown on 29 May in the Shopian,” a statement issued here said, adding, “Instead of taking strict action against those involved in double rape and murder they are awarded and rewarded. No FIR was lodged and criminals are being shielded by authorities.”
