Qayoom Wani condemned use of force inside Jamia Masjid

Srinagar: Senior JCC Leader and President Employees Joint Action committee, Abdul Qayoom Wani has condemned the police action on the worshipers during Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid Srinagar.

In a statement issued here today, Wani termed the police action unwarranted and unfortunate in which Hundreds of men and women worshipers were injured.

Wani said that use of pellet guns inside the historic Jamia Masjid is unacceptable and urged upon the authorities to avoid use of force inside and outside Jamia Masjid to avoid such type of incidents.
