Sat Sharma visits Shankaracharya temple, directs for ensuring proper amenities for devotees

SRINAGAR, MAY 24: Minister for Housing and Urban Development Department Sat Pal Sharma today directed the officers to ensure that proper amenities are provided to the devotees visiting visited the historic Shankaracharya temple.

He was accompanied by MLC Vikram Randawa and senior officers of Housing and Urban Development Department.

The Minister asked the officers to ensure cleanliness in and around the temple and provide all the necessary assistance to the devotees visiting the holy temple.  He said that the devotees from across the country come to visit and pay their obeisance and we have to ensure that they don’t face any inconvenience while discharging their religious duties.

Sat Sharma also directed the officers to bring the area under the ambit of Swach Bharat Abhiyan and launch cleanliness drives frequently around the site.
