Srinagar, May 25: Police on Friday foiled rifle snatching Bid when two militants tried to approach towards Station Grid Wanpoh area of Kulgam district.
However the alert sentry fired some gunshots in air and meantime militants escaped from the spot.
SSP Kulgam Harmeet Singh confirmed the incident and told GNS that alert sentry fired some gunshots in air after Militants had come with intention to snatch rifle. Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
