MLA Dooru lays foundation of Mini Secretariat

ANANTNAG, MAY 23: MLA Dooru Syed Farooq Indrabi today laid the foundation stone of Administrative Complex/ Mini Secretariat at Tehsil Headquarter Dooru in presence of District Development Commissioner, Anantnag Mohammad Younis Malik.

While addressing the public gathering at Dooru, Indrabi said that the three-storied Administrative Block which will be constructed by JKPCC at an estimated cost of Rs.6.04 crores and will be completed up to end of May 2020. He further stated that this was the commitment made with the delegation of Dooru constituency by the Chief Minister during Awami Darbar held at Dak Bungalow Khannabal on 11-11-2017. He also said that a total area of 14828.73 sq feet will be utilized for the construction purpose of the Mini Secretariat complex.

The Departments of Revenue including SDM, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, PHE, Social Welfare, Irrigation, ZEO, Education, Tehsil supplies, Treasury, Social Forestry, Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries, Courtrooms, Meeting Hall, and Clerical Staff rooms will function in the Administrative Complex / Mini Secretariat which will provide better communication of the Administration with general public.

The DDC, Anantnag on the occasion said that various development projects are under different phases of construction in the Dooru constituency and the main project Model Sub District Hospital Building, Dooru has been completed and will be inaugurated in near future with all latest healthcare facilities.

Among others, the SDM Dooru, DGM, JKPCC, and other sectoral officers were also present on the occasion.
