SRINAGAR, MAY 23: Minister for Finance, Labour and Employment Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari Wednesday chaired a meeting to discuss the issues the employees of Jammu & Kashmir Cooperative Supply & Marketing Federation Limited (JAKFED).

The meeting was attended by Minister for Cooperatives and Ladakh Affairs, Chering Dorjay, Secretary Cooperatives, Shameem Ahmad Laherwal Managing Director JAKFED Deepika Kumari Sharma

The meeting discussed threadbare the issues faced by the employees of JAKFED including the enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60.

The minister asked the officers to submit a detailed report with regard to the issues including the enhancement of age so that government can take a call on the issues. He assured all possible support to the employees in getting their issues resolved.

Meanwhile a delegation of Traders Federation Baramulla also called on minister to discuss various issues faced by the traders in the town.

The delegation apprised the minister about the issues of the town including the construction of bypass, four-lanning of Srinagar-Baramulla-Uri Highway, Car Parking in the town, completion of Jetty Bridge, SRTC Bridge, implementation of Greater Baramulla Master Plan and other issues of public interest

Minister gave patient hearing to the delegation and assured them every possible support to redress their grievances.
