Jammu, May 22, 2018: J&K Pradesh Congress Committee has strongly condemned Pakistan for resorting to heavy shelling from across the border at various places in Jammu District during the past few days resulting into loss of human lives and injuries to number of persons.
In a statement JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir has strongly criticized Pakistan for resorting to continued shelling targeting the civilian population along the border. He expressed grave concern over the continued ceasefire violation by Pakistan and escalated tension between neighboring countries resulting into great sufferings to the residents all along the border and LOC in the State besides causalities of civilians and jawans of forces.
He expressed sympathies with bereaved and asked the state government and administrative machinery to provide all sorts of necessary help for the rescue, relief and rehabilitation of affected families.
