Baramulla: A famous political figure and social activist from Zogiyar village in Sheeri Narwav area of Baramulla, Ghulam Din Gulshan passed away due to sudden cardiac arrest at his residence on Monday morning. Though deceased was rushed to district hospital Baramulla, doctors declared him brought dead.
The deceased laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard at Zogiyar and thousands of people participated in his funeral prayers.
G D Gulshan was affiliated with National Conference for a long time and left it to join PDP but divorced the party. He contested 2014 assembly elections from Baramulla constituency as People’s Republican Party candidate but couldn’t make it.
