Srinagar, May 21: Station House Officer Police Station Dooru and other ranks of police station Dooru organized an Iftar party for the local residents of Dooru area last evening.
In a statement issued today, it was said that the Iftar party was attended by many local residents.
“It is for the first time that this kind of initiative has been taken by Anantnag Police in Dooru area to build confidence and give a chance to better Police-Public relations. Such events pave ways to build better Police-Public relation,” said the statement.
On this occasion SHO Dooru Mudasir Nazir said that Ramazan is a month for prayers, blessings and forgiveness and added that department has always been serving the people of the state from decades and the motive of these initiatives is to create robust relation among police and people.
