SRINAGAR, MAY 18: The enforcement squad of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs department has fined 123 erring shopkeepers out of the total 445 business establishment it inspected during market checking conducted between May 1 and 18.
Some 24 different markets in various areas of Srinagar were inspected during the period and a penal sum of 44,000 rupees was collected as fine from the erring for violation of the Essential Commodities Act 1955.
