Srinagar, May 15: A woman was killed after lightning struck her in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Shaheena Begum (35), wife of Farid Ahmad Raina.
An official said that Begum was outside her home at Shahabad Warnow village when the lightning struck, resulting in her on-spot death.
