Kohli inspects Animal, Sheep husbandry offices at Samba

SAMBA, MAY 10: Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Ghani Kohli, conducted inspection of various offices of Animal and Sheep husbandry department, here today.

He was accompanied by Director Sheep Husbandry, Sanjeev Kumar, Director Animal Husbandry,Victor Koul and other senior officers.

During inspection, the Minister checked day to day activities taken up in the sheep husbandry complex at Kartholi. He also inspected disease investigation laboratory (DIL), Principal Training Class (PTC), Wool Board (WB) and Fleece testing laboratory (FTO).

While checking the attendance of staff in these offices, he expressed satisfaction over hundred percent presence of employees in time. He also directed the HODs for taking disciplinary action against the employees who don’t reach office in time.

Keeping in view the job profile of the department, he directed the officers to work with full zeal to solve the problems and grievances of the people associated with the sector.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister asked the concerned to ensure maximum awareness of departmental schemes regarding livestocks among people for bringing up livestock rearing as a powerful income and employment source. He also directed for maximum outreach of the department among stakeholders dependent on livestock rearing.

The Minister also asked the officers to ensure cleanliness of office premises and directed the officers to work in synergy for better results.

Later, He also visited district office of sheep husbandry and inspected the attendance of the officials/officers.
