J&K Bank, RSETI Ganderbal holds valedictory function for aspiring entrepreneurs

Ganderbal May 05: Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ganderbal in collaboration with rural self employment training institute (RSETI) today conducted a valedictory function for unemployed youth who successfully completed the ‘sheep rearing’ course here.

According to the officials of RSETI Ganderbal, thirty five budding entrepreneurs of district Ganderbal were given 10 day special training course in RSETI Ganderbal. “They were imparted special training on sheep rearing.”

On the occasion while addressing the budding entrepreneurs, Director RSETI Ganderbal Manzoor Hussain said, “Entrepreneurship is the need of hour in Kashmir. We have given our best to train you, now it is your turn to excel. Sheep rearing has got good scope in Kashmir.”

He further told the entrepreneurs that they should not rely on government jobs only. “Create your own ventures and employ others. We offer many free self employed courses here. Employed youth should come forward and take this opportunity.”

Reyaz Ahmad, Lead district manager J&K Bank Ganderbal was present on the occasion. In his speech he said, “RSETI is doing great work by training unemployed youth in various courses so that to turn them into entrepreneurs. We should change our attitude and think out of box. Government Jobs is not a solution to economic crisis In Kashmir. We have to produce our own products and for that entrepreneurship is a way forward.”

“J&K Bank will support trained unemployed youth in every possible way. We will provide loan to help them financially,” he added.

On the occasion Certificates were distributed  among the trainees by Reyaz Ahmad, Lead Manager J&K Bank, Manzoor Hussain RSETI Ganderbal  and Reyaz Bhat, Correspondent Tamili Irshad,  Idrees Ali,  reporter The Kashmir images and Basharat Ahmad, Manger advances J&K Bank.

Aspiring entrepreneurs and RSETI officials thanked J&K bank for sponsoring such a program and hailed the trainers for their efforts in imparting quality training.

On the occasion, a new batch for women’s tailoring was inaugurated. Meanwhile, products of successful entrepreneurs were also put on display in RSETI Bazar.
