Srinagar, May 03: Police on Thursday refuted the “rumours” spread on social media about two youth joining militant ranks in Baramulla district.
“Rumours being spread on social media networks about two boys of Palhallan Pattan joining militant ranks are completely wrong,” police spokesman said in a statement.
“Such rumours are strongly rebutted. People are requested not to pay attention to rumors spread on social media.”
He said that those spreading rumours about these youth have been identified. “… and as of now one such person has been detained.”
