Srinagar, May 03: A lineman was critically injured while repairing a power supply line in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.
Officials said 28-years-old Farooq Ahmad Thekry, received serious injuries when he came in contact with a live wire, while repairing a supply line at Gund area of Kangan.
He was rushed to the SKIMS Soura for treatment.
Thekry is a resident of Kullan village of the district, and works as a daily-wager with the Power Development Department (PDD).
