MLA Mendhar blames Indian agencies for militancy

Mendhar, May 03: Senior National Conference leader and MLA Mendhar Javed A Rana on Thursday blamed the Indian agencies for militancy and law and order issues in Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing reporters during a press conference in Mendhar, Rana said the agencies of Government of India were responsible for giving rise to militancy in the state.

“I want to tell the Prime Minister Narendra Modi that your people created these people in Kashmir…these are your creation…these stone-pelters and others…we have nothing to do with them,” said Rana.

Claiming that Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden was a “friend” of the US, Rana said “in the same way, the agencies of the government of India have created militancy in Jammu and Kashmir.”

Rana said they will identify these agencies at a proper time.
