Shining Star Sopore thrashes BCC Reds Baramulla

Sopore, May 02: In the ongoing ‘Wular Premier League’, Shining Star Sopore thrashed BCC Reds Baramulla by 6 wickets. Earlier BCC won the toss and opted to bat first, however the decision proved to be futile as BCC lost 4key wickets in the first 6 overs. Aaqib (37) and Sajid (26) played building knocks as BCC managed to post 138 runs in allotted 20 overs. For Shining Star Sopore, GM, Waseem, Mudasir and Owais picked 2 wickets each.

In reply, Shining Star Sopore chased down the target with ease. Rameez pioneered the chase playing match wining knock of 45 runs while as Mudasir chipped in with crucial 18 runs. BCC Baramulla lost the match by 6 wickets. For BCC Reds Arshid, Mehran and Muntazin took 1 wicket each. Meanwhile, Rameez of Shining Star Sopore was declared as man of the match.
