Srinagar, May 1: Three youths are feared dead while two others were rescued after a boat capsized in a river Jhelum at Khanpora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
Reports reaching GNS said that a boat carrying five persons capsized in the Jhelum after it lost the balance. While two persons namely Junaid and Azaan were rescued immediately and three others namely Anzar Wani, Shahid and Tufail are feared dead.
A police officer confirming the incident told GNS that the rescue operation has been launched to retrieve the trio.
