Srinagar, Apr 29: Unidentified gunmen on Sunday evening shot at and wounded a shopkeeper in Srinagar’s Alocha Bagh area.
Sources said one Zubair Ahmad Parray was at his crockery shop when some unidentified gunmen fired at him. He was shifted to SMHS Hospital in injured condition, where, as per police, he condition is stated to be stable.
While some reports said that he was previously in police but had left the job, others said he was allegedly campaigned for the BJP during 2014 Assembly elections, though police maintained that he was not associated with any political party.
