Srinagar, April 25: A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) activist who was injured critically after shot at by unknown gunman at Rajpora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday, succumbed to injuries.

Official sources told news agency GNS that the gunmen fired upon the vehicle of PDP worker namely Ghulam Nabi Patel at Rajpora Chowk.

In the incident, Patel and his two PSOs Imtiyaz Ahmad Zargar and Bilal Ahmad Mir suffered injuries.

Patil, a resident of Dangerpora Shadimarg later succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital.

A police officer confirmed the incident and said that a hunt has been launched to nab the assailants.
