JAMMU, APRIL 24- According to traffic advisories issued by the government for durbar move days, only up traffic i.e. from Jammu to Srinagar shall be permitted on 28th and 29th April, 2018 on Srinagar-Jammu NHW therefore, no traffic movement including that of convoys of Army and Para-military forces, shall be permitted on the NHW-1A from Srinagar to Jammu on these dates.

Similarly, in order to facilitate smooth movement of vehicles carrying Jammu based Darbar Move employees from Jammu to Srinagar on 5th and 6th May, 2018, only UP traffic i.e. from Jammu to Srinagar, shall be permitted on NHW-1A. Therefore, no traffic movement, including that of convoys of Army and para-military forces shall be permitted on the NHW-IA from Srinagar to Jammu on 5th and 6th May 2018.

Pertinently, as per an earlier order issued by the Government, Darbar Move offices observing five-day week shall be closing at Jammu on 27th of April 2018 after the office hours and the offices observing six-day week shall close on 28th of April 2018 after the office hours.

All the offices shall re-open at Srinagar on 7th of May 2018, in this connection the Srinagar based employees shall be moving to Srinagar on 28th and 29th April 2018 whereas the Jammu based employees shall be moving to Srinagar on 5th and 6th May, 2018. Moreover, the main convoy carrying the important official records from Civil Secretariat, Jammu / other Darbar Move offices shall proceed to Srinagar on 29th of April 2018 (Sunday).
