Kunzer, April 24: Friends-XI thrashed Sheikhpora Lions by mammoth margin of 196 runs. Abid and Mehraj opened the innings as Friends-XI opted to bat first after winning the toss. The batsmen went berserk after losing opener Abid early. Mehraj was then joined by Jehangir Lone and both played shorts all around the park with both the batsmen dealing in boundaries. Jehangir Lone scored 127 (48) while as Mehraj remained unbeaten on 130 (48). Friends-XI set a gargantuan record total of 313 runs. In reply, Sheikhpora Lions seemed nowhere in the line and lost the match by huge margin of 196 runs. After scoring unbeaten 130 runs, Mehraj also picked up a five-wicket haul and was undoubtedly adjudged as man of the match.
