Srinagar, Apr 23: Police on Monday said that it has arrested a man accused of kidnapping a minor in south Kashmir’s Shopian area.
A police spokesman said that they received a report from a person stating that his minor daughter (name withheld) was kidnapped in Zainapora area of Shopian district.
During investigations, the said girl was recovered from Sogam area of Kupwara from the possession of kidnapper. The girl was handed over to her parents while the accused person was arrested and a case registered against him, spokesman said.
