SRINAGAR, APRIL 22: Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services and Sports, Molvi Imran Raza Ansari today said that Imam Husain’s (AS) role is defined by the nature of the social, ideological and political developments of his time.

He said this while commemorating the birth anniversary of Imam Hussain and Imam Abbas (RA) at historical Imam Bara Zadibal here. The congregation was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association (JKSA).

While throwing light on the life of Imams, Molvi Imran said that their life is the epitome and incarnation of humanity who stand up for human principles and we must follow the teachings and dignified life of Imam Hussain and Imam Abbas (RA) in our life.

Whoever goes through the life and teachings of Imam Husain bin Ali (AS) will deeply realize that his role in Islamic life started very early. While still a young man, he contributed, effectively, to the rising movement of Islam.

Later, the Minister also felicitated the meritorious students of Marifatul Uloom Islamia.

The event was also attended by the Islamic scholar Moulana Sheikh Hassan Zakiri, Students and other noted clerics.
