Srinagar, Apr 21: Police on Sunday said it recovered the dead body of a man, who had gone missing, from an apple orchard in Chandusa area of Baramulla district.
Giving details, police spokesman said a missing report was lodged in Police Post Delina, Baramulla about a 27-year-old Parvez Ahmad Kamil, son of Shamasdin Kamil, resident of Veernar, Baramulla, going missing.
A case was registered and searches started to trace the missing person. Many people including the ones he had remained mostly in contact with were questioned, spokesman said.
He said today late afternoon his dead body was found in an apple orchard in village Kachwa, Chandusa. The apparent cause of death seems to be poisoning. Dead body is being taken to hospital for post-mortem, police spokesman said, adding further investigation has been taken up.
