Srinagar: A girl, who was reported missing, has been traced by police in Bandipora police within four hours.
A police spokesman, in a statement issued here, said that a missing report was lodged by Sara Begum of Pethkote in Police Station Pethkote stating that her daughter (name withheld) had gone missing from her home.
“On this report, missing report was filed and swift action was taken to trace her. Subsequently, the said girl was traced out within four hours and handed over to her family members after completing all legal formalities”, added the statement.
