Geelani condemned the night raids being conducted by the security agencies and said innocent youths from Pulwama, Koil Seran, Spore, Baramulla were dragged out of their houses, frisked and arrested,” the statement added.

Commenting over the charge sheet filed by NIA against Shahid Yusuf, Geelani said that he is being implicated on fake grounds for being son of Hizb chief Syed Salah u Din.

“Present era is comparatively favoring free thinking, civilized and rational approach, however, contrary to this, we are reeling under lawless situations where people, resistance leadership, members of traders’ community and even employees are being caged and put behind bars”, Geelani said.
