Shopian: Unidentified gunmen, suspected to be militants, shot at and injured in a Shopian area Sunday late evening.
Sources said that some suspected militant fired at one Kifayat Mir, son of Bashir Ahmad Mir at Kiloora Shopian.
The bullets hit the man’s legs and the injured was shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar, sources said.
Sources said that the injured man actually hailed from Maloo, Dangerpora, Shopian.
Meanwhile, police said that militants abducted Kifayat and fired upon him leaving him critically injured.”
