Jammu, April 14, (JKNI)-  National Conference Provincial President Devender Singh Rana on Saturday hit out at Pradesh Congress leaders for hobnobbing with Bharatya Janata Party to disintegrate and trifurcate Jammu and Kashmir.

“A section of the Congress leaders have been working as B-Team of the BJP and furthering its agenda of division, hate and polarization”, Rana said after paying glorious homage to Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary at a function held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here this afternoon.

Rana said those working behind veils are more dangerous than perpetrators of a specific agenda and Congress leaders stand now fully exposed for pushing the state towards communal frenzy. They have all along been working against the unity of the State.  It is a vicious circle of the BJP, the PDP and a section in the Congress which is responsible for the prevailing sordid state of affairs. The National Conference, he said, will unveil these elements and fight their machinations by maintaining unity and tranquility, the real strength of the State and strong basis of the single entity of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.

Referring to behind the scene political maneuvering over generating fear psychosis and creating wedge between the communities in the wake of brutal rape and murder of an eight year old girl in Rasana  Kathua, Mr Rana hailed the maturity and political sagacity with which the people across the spectrum foiled these dangerous attempts. He said the people of Jammu, irrespective of cast, creed or religion remained steadfast in their demand for justice to the victim.

“Those standing for rapists could be anything—chauvinists or opportunists—but not Hindus, who worship girls up to the age of 12 as Kanjikas during holy Navratras”, the Provincial President said lauded the societal response in isolating the fringe. He assailed the BJP for imposing itself as Messiahs of Hindus and said this is disservice to great Hinduism, which believes in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the whole world being one single family).
