Ganderbal, Apr 12: The traffic movement on Sonamarg-Drass stretch of strategic 434-kilometer Srinagar-Leh highway was suspended on Thursday after landslides hit the road.
Officials said that massive landslides hit the Zojila stretch of the highway near zero point last evening forcing suspension of traffic movement.
They said Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is on job and has pressed men and machinery into service to clear the slide from the road.
