He stressed upon the officers to organize awareness camps in the far-flung areas to aware the people about these schemes as the government is committed for the holistic welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir State.

During the day long public durbar, the people mostly came from hilly and far flung areas raised issues like supply of drinking water, road connectivity, upgradation of health and educational facilities, employment opportunities, electricity and other related demands.

Responding to the demands, the Minister released Rs 11 lakhs out of his Constituency Developments Fund (CDF) for construction of a small road in Teryath. He took some decisions, on spot, to mitigate most problems of the people. However, in some community and collective problems, the Minister assured the people that their genuine demands would be redressed in phased manner.
