Srinagar: Army on Saturday organized a medical camp at Parang in co-ordination with civil administration.
A statement issued by the Army today said that a team of doctors including medical, ENT and dentist from Army and Civil Medical Department came together for the noble cause and treated more than 400 patients.
The statement said that another medical camp was organised at Heffkhuri village in Chillipora wherein free medical checkup was done and prescribed medicines were given. The locals were also made aware about the importance of good hygiene and sanitation for a good health.
The idea of provision of accessibility of medicine along with free medical prescription at the doorstep was welcomed by one and all, the statement said, adding, the locals appreciated the efforts of the Army.
