Spl. DGP, PHQ inaugurates computerised budgeting system

Jammu, 31st March: Following the guidelines of Finance Department, V.K. Singh, Special Director General of Police (Hqrs) inaugurated Computerised Budgeting system “Budget Estimation, Allocation and Monitoring System”  (BEAMS) at PHQ, here today.

Anand Jain, IGP (Hqrs), PHQ, Naila Zahoor, Financial advisor and CAO, PHQ and other office bearers of PHQ were present on the occasion.

Under this new system, funds under all the relevant detailed heads for the financial year 2018-19 were transferred online to all the field offices of Police Department. By way of introducing this system, all the expenditure will not only be checked for budget availability before bills can be submitted to respective Treasuries, but also the monthly cash flows will be controlled against pre-determined targets.
