Shab-e-Meraj arrangements reviewed at Bandipora

 BANDIPORA, MARCH 31: In order to ensure facilities to the devotees on the ensuing auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Meraj and its Friday Following, a meeting of concerned officers was held here today under the Chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bandipora, Hameeda Akhter

During the meeting, the concerned officers were directed to put in place all the requisite arrangements. The Executive Engineer R&B was asked to ensure repairs to the road leading to Ziarat Ahm Sharief. The Executive Engineer PHE was asked to deploy water tanker during the holy-days to facilitate the devotees. He was also asked to ensure additional water supply points permanently during the current year.

Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) was directed to arrange proper transport facilitates for the devotees and also ensure proper parking space. While Executive Officer Municipal Committee was asked to ensure proper cleanliness in and around the Ziarat Sharief besides the roads leading to it.

Chief Medical Officer was directed to keep ambulance with all the medical facilities available at the Ziarat site.

The meeting also took stock of security arrangements and deployment of Magistrates. Assistant Director FCS&CA was asked to ensure proper supply of food grains and LPG before 5th of April.

Among others, administrator Wakf Board Ziarat Ahm Sharief and other concerned attended the meeting.
