March 31: Department of Physical Education Islamia College Srinagar in collaboration with J&K Tourism Department organised a rock climbing training camp at Nowgam artificial rock. The camp was meant for the student members of college Adventure Club. Meanwhile a total of 27 student members of the club  were trained in the day long training camp. The students were taught basic rock climbing techniques by the trainer. It was ensured that all the participants undergo all the basic skills of the rock climbing at the artificial wall. Principal Dr. Muzafar Ahmed Khan while flagging off the students insisted the students to take full advantage of the unique sports facilities kept available by the college. The college is also going to organize ‘Mahadev Summit’ shortly for selected students.
