Jammu, Mar 30: An absconder, booked in a rape case, has been arrested after 14 years in Doda district, police said.
The absconder, identified as Abdul Gani of Dhara, was booked under section 376 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) (rape) and 452 RPC (house-trespass), a police official said.
In another case, police arrested Mohammad Saleem alais Gulshan of Bharat village in Doda, who was booked under 188 RPC (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) in 2017, he said.
