Srinagar, Mar 22: Burglars struck a residential house at Onagham Bandipora on Thursday and decamped with cash and gold worth lakhs of rupees.
Reports said that burglars struck in a residential house of Mohammad Shaffi Iqbal in broad daylight when the family had gone to see a relative and had locked the house.
“Burglars struck the house and stole gold ornaments worth Rs 20 lakhs besides cash and other household items which including a TV, refrigerator, laptops, and other electronic gadgets,” local news agency reported.
Police in this regard has registered a case and started investigations.
